Today, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi ji will flag off India's first indigenously developed hydrogen-powered train on the Jind–Sonipat route.

Designed, engineered and integrated in India, the train is powered by a 1200 kW hydrogen fuel cell propulsion system, emits only water vapour and marks another significant step towards sustainable innovation and an #AatmanirbharBharat.

Ensuring National Security and strengthening our Borders is a top priority for our Government. In our commitment to securing the India-Bangladesh Border, we have expedited the land transfer process to the Border Security Force (BSF) for the construction of essential fencing.
As of today, a total of 1,024.75 acres of land spanning across 172.6 kms has been formally handed over for this purpose.
Below is the district-wise breakdown of the land transferred:-

Murshidabad: 45.4 kms - 337 acres

North 24 Parganas: 42.07 kms - 241.03 acres

Cooch Behar: 39.39 kms - 135.33 acres

Malda: 20.15 kms - 176.78 acres

Nadia: 14.79 kms - 95.11 acres

Dakshin Dinajpur: 7.75 kms - 26.41 acres

Darjeeling: 1.45 kms - 4.31 acres

Uttar Dinajpur: 1.28 kms - 6.61 acres

Jalpaiguri: 0.31 kms - 2.17 acres

TOTAL: 172.6 kms - 1,024.75 acres

We remain steadfast in our resolve to complete these projects to ensure a safer and more secure environment for our Citizens.

The Government of West Bengal has approved major measures to strengthen PM-POSHAN by enhancing nutritional support for students, providing greater support to Cook-cum-Helpers and increasing LPG coverage to all Schools.

We have approved an enhancement in the cooking cost from ₹6.78 to ₹10 per child per day for 51.61 lakh pre-primary and primary students. We have also approved 100% LPG coverage in PM-POSHAN Schools by bearing the LPG installation cost at ₹3,000 per unit. Together, these measures involving around ₹414.63 crore will ensure safer kitchens and more nutritious meals for our children.
Recognising the invaluable contribution of our nearly 2.24 lakh Cook-cum-Helpers, we have also approved an increase in their monthly honorarium from ₹2,000 to ₹3,000, with an additional financial support of about ₹224 crore.

These approvals totalling to ₹639 crores reflect our unwavering commitment to strengthening school education, supporting those who serve our children every day, and ensuring that every child in West Bengal receives nutritious meals in a safe and healthy environment. Investing in our children today is investing in Bengal's future.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের উন্নয়নের স্বার্থে সাহসী সিদ্ধান্তকে স্বাগত।

কলকাতা শুধু পূর্ব ভারতের প্রবেশদ্বার নয়, এটি দেশের অন্যতম প্রধান অর্থনৈতিক ও কৌশলগত কেন্দ্র। তাই কলকাতা বিমানবন্দরকে দিল্লি, মুম্বই ও বেঙ্গালুরুর সমকক্ষ করে তুলতে হলে আধুনিক পরিকাঠামো গড়ে তোলা ছাড়া অন্য কোনও পথ নেই।

রাজ্যসভায় উত্থাপিত প্রশ্নের উত্তরে কেন্দ্র সরকার আগেই জানিয়েছিল যে, দ্বিতীয় রানওয়ের অ্যাপ্রোচ এলাকায় অবস্থিত মসজিদটির অবস্থানের কারণে রানওয়ের পূর্ণ ব্যবহার এবং ভবিষ্যৎ সম্প্রসারণে সীমাবদ্ধতা তৈরি হচ্ছে। নতুন টার্মিনাল নির্মাণ ও বিমানবন্দরের আধুনিকীকরণের ক্ষেত্রেও প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপের কথা জানানো হয়েছিল।

সরকার মসজিদটিকে উপযুক্ত বিকল্প স্থানে স্থানান্তরের নির্দেশ দিয়ে উন্নয়ন, নিরাপত্তা ও জনস্বার্থকে অগ্রাধিকার দিয়েছে। সাম্প্রতিক প্রতিবেদনে জানানো হয়েছে যে বিমানবন্দরের নিরাপত্তা ও সম্প্রসারণ পরিকল্পনার অংশ হিসেবে স্থানান্তরের প্রক্রিয়া এগোচ্ছে।

ভারতীয় জনতা পার্টির অবস্থান স্পষ্ট—উন্নয়নের পথে কোনও বাধা নয়। সকল ধর্মের প্রতি সম্মান রেখেই এমন সমাধান চাই, যাতে মানুষের ধর্মীয় অধিকারও অক্ষুণ্ণ থাকে এবং কলকাতা পায় আরও একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ রানওয়ে, ভবিষ্যতে একটি বিশ্বমানের এরোসিটি, আরও বেশি আন্তর্জাতিক উড়ান, নতুন বিনিয়োগ এবং হাজার হাজার কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ।

উন্নয়নের রাজনীতি—তুষ্টিকরণের নয়।
কলকাতাকে বিশ্বমানের বিমান চলাচলের কেন্দ্র হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতেই এই পরিবর্তন জরুরি।
