Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dame Fiona Caldicott. An incredibly rich & full life, Dame Fiona was the first woman president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists from 1993 - 1996 & chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges from 1995 - 1996. May she RIP🌷

Few weeks ago I witnessed an agitated man being restrained (face up) by security staff in public #IKEA, whilst his wife kept screaming that he was not able to breath.

I tried to interfere as a doctor and was repeatedly and sternly asked to "step back sir!". Eventually he was allowed to set up.
