Hannity is a joke. Coward. Fake Journo. Ask some real questions darn it. As for Thune, Why is it acceptable to be a strong Nay on this and NOT have to be public about your vote? Is this a representative republic or not. Besides, if they believe their position then why wouldn't they make their argument in public? It's all for show, nothing matters. Republicans are Democrats in the only metric that matters, on how they vote.
@nicksortor@KenPaxtonTX Republicans are Democrats. They are the same. The rest is just for show and to pacify the masses. They work together behind the scenes to maintain a shared power that they will never willingly give up.
I have a very bad feeling about this universal income utopia concept. I don’t believe it and I don’t trust mankind to have the moral courage and principles to make it happen. One glance at history and or the daily news is overwhelming evidence to the contrary. 10years from now…oh doctor you are done today, forever, go home and wait for a check to arrive magically that will cover everything you need, we promise. Elon is awesome but he has no alternative and is highly incentivized to embrace whatever he and his AI cohorts conjure up next. A bumpy road, more likely epic global disruption and we have seen what desperate or fearful people are capable of doing to each other. Having a Starbucks and talking with the other mad scientists every quarter is wholly inadequate and useless. This is going to get out of hand real fast and the smart guys will be fine while the rest of us suffer. No, I am not a doom and gloom person but neither am I naive about human nature. The rest of the interaction between them is entertainment and irrelevant given the gravity of the first subject of discussion.
@elonmusk Yes, RAGE. How bad do things have to get before good people demand, not ask, for justice and minimally reasonable policies that are not terminally destructive to the culture and country?
@BoSnerdley@mirandadevine Yes he does! Don’t care! Money 💰 and power will remain his. If the people can forget about the atrocities of covid then they will move on from anything, give them breads and circuses.
The final act for me. Done with the deception and lies with Republicans, the names change from McCain to Romney to Ryan to McConnell to Thune, but results are always the same for decades now it’s been when push comes to shove on a real Republican or conservative agenda action they make up excuses and lies to manipulate the narrative so they maintain their power and all the benefits that come with it. At least the Democrats are willing to do whatever it takes to win and actually get their agenda done. Trumps progress will all be instantly reversed and republican leaders absolutely will privately rejoice.
Honestly, I will never vote for republicans again because they are democrats. There is no fundamental difference in outcomes overtime. Executive orders are temporary and an illusion of false hope. Voting is a psychological and fraudulent operation to appease the helpless masses into believing they have an influence on their government, they don’t but they do fund their very own destruction by these psychopaths who lust for the ring of power. If Elon cannot make a dent then who can, hopeless corruption, not fixable.
@C_3C_3 💯 Another remnant of the McRhomBush uniparty that is angry about losing their control and on the way out has a rage fit like McCain, Romney, Pence, McConnell, etc. The Save Act is the do or die moment!
Don’t give a darn about the stupid floor time BS nor any other bills, I will never vote for a Republican ever again just because of this nonsense, I will simply embrace the horror of one party democrat rule and hunker down as well as possible, better than repeatedly having false hope and utter disappointment over and over and over again. No, the Democrats are not worse, they are the same.
@NEWSMAX What difference does it make if Republicans are just like Democrats? So what? Besides, uniparty Republicans WANT to lose so they can have an easy excuse to continue to reject MAGA policies.
