I have a very bad feeling about this universal income utopia concept. I don’t believe it and I don’t trust mankind to have the moral courage and principles to make it happen. One glance at history and or the daily news is overwhelming evidence to the contrary. 10years from now…oh doctor you are done today, forever, go home and wait for a check to arrive magically that will cover everything you need, we promise. Elon is awesome but he has no alternative and is highly incentivized to embrace whatever he and his AI cohorts conjure up next. A bumpy road, more likely epic global disruption and we have seen what desperate or fearful people are capable of doing to each other. Having a Starbucks and talking with the other mad scientists every quarter is wholly inadequate and useless. This is going to get out of hand real fast and the smart guys will be fine while the rest of us suffer. No, I am not a doom and gloom person but neither am I naive about human nature. The rest of the interaction between them is entertainment and irrelevant given the gravity of the first subject of discussion.

The final act for me. Honestly, I will never vote for republicans again because they are democrats. There is no fundamental difference in outcomes overtime. Executive orders are temporary and an illusion of false hope.
