@Mark_Coughlan Mark, you should ask what changed within these models for them to become revised; Updated case data to re run scenarios with existing parameters or have they updated parameters, or has the model itself been tweaked. There needs to be oversight on the modelling, given the impact.

@Aidan_Regan Agree on the point about fiscal hawks. However, surely inflation running very hot would also be very very bad for future prosperity? Just this month we have (price increase p/m): Internet (+4), TV (+2), Music (+3), Elect/Gas (+8%), not to mention our food bill steadily rising

@maamvalley @jackalexe This reads as a tell about how worried Leo RE: housing optics. If housing is now #1 issue, then front and centre will be FG failings. He knows this, he wants govt to keep this issue out of sight. This is THE wedge to drive right through the both of them and be done with them.

@GaryGannonTD Which part do you not agree with? This isn't about papers Gary, you know that. This is about a functioning press to hold power accountable. Not facilitating weak leadership by giving them an easy out - to leak/communicate unchallenged, just so they can maintain their "contacts".

@GaryGannonTD What Job is that Gary? Politicians are not held to account by journalists. They have facilitated leaks, kites, PP infighting/rivalry. This has only added to the stress & confusion born by the people, due to govt incompetence & poor comms. They have played their part in this mess
