Director of Public Affairs @ Consello in Ireland | Former TD, Senator and Leader of Seanad Éireann | Barrister | Foreign Affairs, EU, Brexit, Defence Briefs
Deeply saddened at the passing of Hugh Wallace, whose advocacy for good architecture, coupled with his wonderful communication skills, performed a wonderful public service. Sincere condolences to his husband, Martin, family and friends.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Paschal Donohoe on his new role at the World Bank.
I also thank Paschal for his years of public service, in particular as a government minister since 2014.
I’m frightened by the rise of misinformation linking autism, Tylenol & vaccines.
❌ No science behind it.
✅ Real risks: measles & other deadly outbreaks.
Let’s stop shaming parents & stand with science. #Autism@fiannafailparty
"It's a great honor to have @MichealMartinTD. Ireland, it's a very special place and he's a very special guy... We have tremendous business relationships with Ireland, and that will only get stronger." – President Donald J. Trump
In the last Seanad I introduced “Jennies law” with the help and support of @OCallaghanJim and Jason Poole. Looking forward to seeing this measure in the Programme for Government
Throughout this campaign, Fianna Fáil has been focused on presenting you with a program of positive change.
I believe that the Irish people deserve a debate which has focused on how we can protect progress and go much further.
Let’s move our country forward. Together.
I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to talk to me and the thousands of Fianna Fáil volunteers across the country during the campaign.
It’s now time to focus on the choice we are facing.
We need to protect progress, but also move forward.
Vote Fianna Fáil on Friday.
Fianna Fáil is running 34 women in this election, more than any other Party has ever run.
In 2026, Fianna Fáil will celebrate the centenary of our founding, marking 100 years since Constance Markievicz chaired the first Party meeting.
Guided by her legacy, we are creating a more equal Ireland. Here's how: https://t.co/wrEcEc1Zw2
If elected to Government, Fianna Fáil will establish a standalone Department of Justice and Public Safety, and a separate Department of Domestic Affairs. #rtept
@MichealMartinTD reiterating the importance of offshore floating wind in tackling climate change. @fiannafailparty have made strong commitments in our manifesto to accelerating delivery of offshore wind projects. This will be hugely important for meeting our future energy needs with green sustainable energy and the west of Ireland will play a leading role. 💚 #leadersdebate
@vananna36 @MichealMartinTD@fiannafailparty @DonnellyStephen Yes I know and that’s something we want to work on and have included in our manifesto. I’m of the few Oireachtas members to work on this issue and we have made some progress the last 4 years but we have a lot more to do.
“We now have free schoolbooks from Primary to Leaving Certificate. We’re reducing the cost of public services, reducing childcare costs, reducing healthcare costs.” - @MichealMartinTD#rtept
I have to say @lichamber is an excellent legislator, is running a brilliant campaign and will make a wonderful representative for Mayo in Dáil Éireann once again.
