@NMC_BHARAT Why is the NMC placing limitations on studying abroad? Is it to earn more money by supporting coaching mafias and private medical institute mafias?

[Dr. Minhaz Laskar @dr_mi9haz]

Dear @RahulGandhi,Can you address concerns about the NMC’s new rules making it harder for students to study medical abroad and reportedly aiding coaching mafias?Medical education in India is tough enough, and now our overseas options are being restricted too. Please look into this.

India's safety for women is complex. Crime rates rose 4% in 2022, with 445,256 cases (51 FIRs/hour), led by domestic violence (31.4%) and rape (7.1%). Laws like the Domestic Violence Act exist, but enforcement lags due to stigma and delays. India ranks 128th/177 in the 2023 Women, Peace and Security Index, showing moderate safety concerns compared to top-ranked Norway. Urban areas like Delhi (144.4 rate) face higher risks, while cultural attitudes hinder progress. Efforts continue, but challenges remain.

Why is NMC aiding the coaching institute mafia by imposing NEET-UG mandates for MBBS abroad? The 2018 regulations have caused severe unintended consequences—harming students disproportionately, empowering exploitative coaching centers, and benefiting private medical colleges.
