I waited two whole months to lock down a meeting with my mentor a man so busy I’m pretty sure his calendar has its own security team.
During our chat, he kept eyeing a specific item I brought along, raining compliments on it like a proud dad. Right as we wrapped up, the next mentee walked in holding a different brand.
My mentor looked back and forth between us like a ref at a tech match: “You’re an Apple person, you’re a Samsung person… and for the record, I’m an Apple guy.”
