@MattWalshBlog Binary thinking here. Take his name or keep yours. Those are the only options. They aren’t. My husband and I took a less conventional road that honoured our new path. We created our own last name. Our own family name. We both left our old identities go and created something new.
@nfldraftscout Convince yourself to start. Thats it. If you start your work out you’ve won. I swim most mornings. I know if I get one lap in, I’ll get my 100.
@NirSimon@raghu_venugopal Incorrect. We aren’t paid for charting, reviewing labs, sending consults, prescriptions. Each visit generates another 5-15min of work that isn’t compensated at all.
@Dr_Oubre Send it. Preferably immediately, especially if you’re asking me to do something time sensitive (ie follow up lytes in 2 weeks is not helpful if you send it 4 months later. Yes. That happened.)
@awsumpowers When I was resident, I was beating myself up after a particularly terrible post call pimp that made me look fairly dumb. A staff pulled me aside and told me that the entire point of it is to keep you humble and point out learning gaps. Don’t stress. Just learn.
Wasteful of system resources & patient time; & a breach of patient confidentiality. These corporate requirements for sick notes and copies of medical charts has to stop for short-term absences @Morneau_Shepell Shame on you. https://t.co/SNLi8ClK0u
Funny how antivaccine activists dismiss the possibility of death due to measles (~1 in 1,000) as being of little or no consequence; yet, a one in a million chance of severe reactions to a vaccine is completely unacceptable to them.
