VW got a 1.2 Millon Fine

The Germany financial regulator BaFin has imposed a fine of 1.2 million euros on Volkswagen for an alleged breach of disclosure obligations.

The reason: In 2023, Volkswagen announced an annual forecast that was significantly better than the market had expected, yet it did not issue this as a designated "ad-hoc" disclosure (a mandatory notification for significant information), but merely in a press release.
