Don’t get it twisted, generally feeling good and working from a place of health, well-being and security is the ultimate competitive advantage, but that doesn’t mean things should be “pleasant” at all times.

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Friedrich Nietzsche
There's no such thing as an ideal daily routine. The best model is the one that works for you.
Successful people don't keep similar schedules. Their common practice is experimenting to learn what suits them.
Don't be a slave to others' habits. One size doesn't fit all minds.
In a polarized world, a key to happiness is being hard to offend.
Feeling slighted takes a toll. It's possible to object without getting upset.
Rudeness says more about the perpetrator than the target. If they haven't earned your respect, they don't deserve your attention.
"A new review and meta-analysis of 218 studies covering more than 14,000 participants concluded that exercise is as effective as therapy in addressing depression - and that it’s often more effective than antidepressants." https://t.co/UlFAuxd6AH

A key to steady progress is prioritizing goals over moods.
Whether you aim to get in shape, learn the guitar, or write a book, the question is not whether you feel like it today. It's who you want to become tomorrow.
Enthusiasm fluctuates. Consistent action accumulates.
Most people don't want nuance. They care more about...
- Feeling righteous anger
- Confirming they're right
- Confirming their firmly held ideology
- Getting easy answers or a 12-step protocol
- Being told how to think
- Belonging to a group
Nuance is irrelevant.
