I went for my biometrics in June and this is October! I am constantly being harassed to bring my update passport data page by my institution!
What did you do this summer?
Kenechukwu O. S. Nwosu traveled to Ghana to complete an international practicum experience in child family health, supported by the R. Palmer Beasley, MD & Lu-Yu Hwang, MD, Travel Award in International Research.
While this interview does not specifically talk about possible mental health challenges this dilemma may cause, it touches on it little and it stirs up a need for such conversations I would love to spare head.

Today was an interesting opportunity to highlight a form of intersectionality we rarely ever talk about in the public health space. It’s not out of place to analyze and try to comprehend how diverse capabilities of an individual can be a become a source of discrimination.
Status quo can become a dangerous thing even in this aspect of life, where professionals live in fear of rejection and discrimination based on their desire to explore other talents they might have which lie completely outside the general expectations for their chosen profession.

@wakawaka_doctor Given the fact that the system is racist, the fact that you get accepted from your country to come & work anywhere goes to buttress the fact that, they don't even have citizens worthy enough to fill those positions otherwise they wouldn't look to Africa for their workforce needs.
@wakawaka_doctor I remember how relaxed and unserious I was at my visa interview... Dude started laughing at one point after denying a couple people he said yes to me.... Confidence can never be overlooked... I hope one day all Africans learn this!
