I received the leadership of the Junior Doctors Association – Ashanti Region (JDA-Ash) at the Regional Coordinating Council.

I commended their dedication and essential contributions to our health sector and assured them of my unwavering support in their professional journey. I was particularly pleased to learn of their growing interest in entrepreneurship and public health innovation, and I expressed my willingness to facilitate enabling opportunities for such initiatives.

The Association also raised some concerns affecting the newly recruited Junior House Officers. I took immediate steps to initiate the resolution process with the intervention of the health minister.

I believe in building practical partnerships and investing in the future of our young professionals. I look forward to deeper collaboration with the JDA to enhance healthcare delivery in the Ashanti Region.
