@BlrCityPolice whatever is happening in Jayanagar 4th T block today you should have NEVER allowed. I don't care if it's a religious or temple festival. But too have such loud drums and fireworks for so many hours is unacceptable. Every year it happens 2-3 times and we complain.
@BlrCityPolice it's a blatant disregard for the law in a supposedly secular country, and total disrespect for the people who live in this area. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP AT ONCE!! Even 37th cross has been closed for 3 days now with a shamiana for some private event. This can't continue
@BlrCityPolice every time we call you you say they've got permission. But you should never give permission for such events in a residential area where for 5 hrs we have had the noise nonstop, it's close to midnight, today and tomorrow are working days and none of you seem to care
@BlrCityPolice 36th A cross, 14th main, Jayanagar 4th T block the police need to act. You have warned this house so many times, still they continue doing this untimely work with impunity, causing immeasurable stress to all neighbours. I'm tired of calling the police at this hour. So this post.
@BlrCityPolice since 0530 in the morning, this tractor has been picking up construction debris thrown by the opposite house, under construction for 2 years, for which i have called the police 20 times in the last 2 years. Each time waking up the entire neighbourhood at this time
@AshwiniVaishnaw@RailMinIndia I am also shocked how blatantly this train gets delayed. 6hrs late everyday, since the pandemic ended, according to the train staff. That's ludicrous. I shouldn't be paying extra to travel in this train, and surely you need to be honest with the passengers and alter the timetable
@AshwiniVaishnaw@RailMinIndia this is the common condition of bio toilets on Indian railways. It is totally appalling and unacceptable. This is on the Pune Howrah Duronto express, apparently a premium train. Trains running late, bad food, etc are one thing, but this.. no words!
@athreyaa No, this was always originally scheduled to be co hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Had nothing to do with Pakistan. Hosting decisions were taken years back. But Sri Lanka's dry season doesn't match most of India's, which is the problem. Though this rain is slightly unseasonal.
Crap #ICC/#BCCI scheduling comes to the fore again! Games in Sri Lanka in the winter were bound to eventually start getting washed out! When all of central and north India have clear weather, why would you schedule a World Cup in Sri Lanka at this time of year?? #ICCT20WorldCup
@BlrCityPolice very often, almost every week, like right now, there are loud fireworks happening at midnight in the middle of residential areas of Jayanagar and Banashankari. Why aren't you able to stop it? It happens regularly with blatant bursting of rocket bombs with flares.
@ICC got saved by the fact that Bangalore was removed as a venue thanks to the @RCBTweets stampede debacle. Else even more matches would have gotten rained out, given October is Bangalore's wettest month. Will the #ICC and @BCCI ever shed their brainlessness? #ICCWomensWorldCup
@ICC has again shown that it has its brain at the wrong end of the spine! Scheduling #WWC matches in Colombo in the middle of the Northeast monsoon is plain brainlessness! Now with the @BCCI heading the ICC, I guess one could never hope for any improvement.
@JioHotstar your OTT channel still wrongly lists the #INDvsENG 4th Test match as having been played in 'Leeds' rather than 'Manchester'. A very fundamental error indeed... The first Test was played at Leeds.
Has @sanjaymanjrekar not read his colleague Siddharth Monga's article: https://t.co/txLGokim1X on Cricinfo, and about why Gill and Nair misjudged so many balls that evening? He should do his homework before criticising Gill live on air @JioHotstar#ENGvINDTest
@blrcitytraffic Please remove the signals on RV road and other small intersections (e.g. 33rd cross and 11th main) immediately. There are never any traffic snarls when it's free for all and no police or signals are around. Get rid of them now! (4/4)
@blrcitytraffic while nothing positive can be written about the traffic and roads in Bangalore, some of the recent signalling developments have been about the worst in Bangalore's history. (1/4)
@blrcitytraffic These junctions were just fine with no signals, people managing themselves and no jams. With the new lights, you have tripled travel times and made the surrounding internal residential roads a nightmare too, with everyone trying to avoid RV road. (3/4)
@blrcitytraffic There are already several meaningless traffic lights throughout town, but the ones installed recently on RV road are the worst ever. Japanese systems will not work with Indian traffic. (2/4)
