“Remember this—
a farmer who plants only a few seeds
will get a small crop.
But the one who plants generously
will get a generous crop.”
2 Corinthians 9:6 NLT
Both stinginess and generosity will compound over time.
Be on guard.
Stand firm in the faith.
Be courageous.
Be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13 NLT
We wouldn’t be given these instructions if things were going to be easy. Nor if we were on the losing side.
The battle will be won.. But the battle is not done.
“Don’t be concerned for your own good
but for the good of others.”
1 Corinthians 10:24 NLT
Here’s the decision I’m going to be faced with today;
ME or YOU?
JESUS, remind me what to do.
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love..”
Romans 8:38-39 NLT
“I am counting on the Lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word.”
Psalms 130:5 NLT
My hope is not based on circumstances,
wishing they will all work out.
It is based on a character, God’s character.
He, and His Word, will never fail.
“But the believers who were scattered
preached the Good News about Jesus
wherever they went.”
Acts of the Apostles 8:4 NLT
WHO? the believers who were scattered
WHAT? Preached the Good News
WHERE? Wherever they went
And every day,
in the Temple
and from house to house,
they continued to teach
and preach this message:
“Jesus is the Messiah.”
Acts of the Apostles 5:42 NLT
Hey @AndyStanley, I know you pay attention to and try to learn from all the critics. I hope you also know that so many are so thankful for how you love and lead people to Jesus! Respect and gratitude.
Again he said,
“Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me,
so I am sending you.”
John 20:21 NLT
The Father sent the Son . . .
to serve in humility
to open wide his arms and the door to his Kingdom
to love and lead others
to lay down his life
So also Jesus sends me.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.
Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.
But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33 NLT
He promises peace in the midst of trails and sorrows.
“Remain in me,
and I will remain in you.
For a branch cannot produce fruit
if it is severed from the vine,
and you cannot be fruitful
unless you remain in me.”
John 15:4 NLT
Staying connected to Jesus is the only way to be fruitful or, for that matter, to stay alive.
“Jesus told her,
“I am the resurrection and the life.
Anyone who believes in me will live,
even after dying.
Everyone who lives in me and believes in me
will never ever die.
Do you believe this?”
John 11:25-26 NLT
“On the last day, the climax of the festival,
Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds,
Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!
Anyone who believes in me may come and drink!
For the Scriptures declare,
‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”
John 7:37-38 NLT
“From his abundance we have all received
one gracious blessing after another.”
Jesus 1:16
“He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!”
P.s. 103:5
“Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.”
P.s. 103:1
When the Roman officer who stood facing him
saw how he had died, he exclaimed,
“This man truly was the Son of God!”
Mark 15:39 NLT
We know how he lives. We know how he died.
We know that he lives again!
Jesus truly is the Son of Fod and my only Hope.
