Let's have it, since you all want to define success now
🔴⚪ So apparently, according to Social Media Logic™ — rebranded trophies don't count.
Fine. Let's play by those rules then. Consistently. For everybody.
❌ The First Division became the Premier League. Gone.
❌ The European Cup became the Champions League. Gone.
❌ The Cup Winners Cup? Abolished. Doesn't exist. Deleted.
❌ The UEFA Cup? Rebranded to Europa League. Wiped.
So let's do the math properly…
Liverpool have 2 Premier Leagues and 2 Champions Leagues.
✅ That's 4 major trophies.
Spurs have 0 Premier Leagues and 1 Europa League.
Their "European heritage"? Evaporated. 😂
Chelsea and City? Both currently under the biggest financial investigations in English football history. 115 charges. FFP violations. When integrity is gone, so are the trophies — in spirit if not on paper.
We don't need a rebrand to erase those. The asterisk is already there.
✅ Manchester United have 13 Premier Leagues. Fair. Nobody is arguing that.
But 13 years without a major trophy is not a dynasty. That's called a museum. United are UK Gold now — showing reruns of a better era. Forest and Villa won theirs too. Doesn't make them relevant today.
And Arsenal?
✅ 4 Premier Leagues.
❌ 0 Champions Leagues — but we just played in the final.
Season before: 2nd.
Season before that: 2nd.
This season: CHAMPIONS. 🏆
Liverpool also have 4 major trophies under these rules.
But here's the difference nobody wants to say out loud:
Liverpool's peak was 30 years apart.
Arsenal's four league titles span across two completely different eras of English football — and we are actively, RIGHT NOW, building for a third.
We are not living off memories.
We are not in a museum.
We are not under investigation.
We are the reigning Premier League Champions with the youngest elite squad in Europe, a generational manager, and a Champions League final already in our DNA.
Arsenal and Liverpool — level on "modern major trophies."
But only one of us just beat Liverpool to the title AND reached a UCL final in the same season.
Your rules. Not ours.
We're fine with it.
🔴⚪
Should I add more ? 🤝🤔
I need Mikel and all the Arsenal players to see this man come to celebrate them even with the disappointment of the UCL.
Every Arsenal fan alive that could turn up, turned up.
It’s now the team and the board’s turn to turn it all up next season.
Through the ups and downs - we felt your backing every step of the way this season, Gooners 👏
We can't wait to celebrate an historic season with you later today in N5 ❤️
I am so proud of the boys. They brought the fight. Even though it ended not in our favour, I am proud of the hard work they put to get to this point. Breaking the Premier League title drought, and getting to the UCL Final with an unbeaten run.
I am a proud Gooner forever!
