Over the last few hours, a lot has been said and written about an incident at Goa Medical College today involving and suspending a doctor on duty. I feel it is important to address this directly, not just as your Health Minister, but as someone deeply committed to ensuring that no citizen is ever denied basic medical care, especially the elderly who deserve our utmost respect and attention.

I received a message from a concerned family member about how a senior citizen already in pain and medically advised to receive daily injections was refused the injection at GMC casualty on a public holiday. What made the matter worse was that the casualty had minimal patient load at the time, and yet, a simple act of compassion and care was withheld. I found this deeply upsetting.

Yes, as the Health Minister, I did intervene and I accept that my tone and words could have been more measured. I’m not above reflection or criticism. I take full responsibility for how I communicated, and I assure you, such an approach will not be repeated.

However, what I will not apologise for is standing up for a patient who was denied care. Doctors hold a noble position in society, and most of them at GMC serve with great dedication. But when arrogance seeps into duty, when compassion is replaced with indifference, it is my responsibility to take action. Because if we let such behaviour pass unaddressed, we send a message that it is acceptable to deny a senior citizen or any other person medical help. That cannot happen in a government hospital that is meant to serve the public.

There is often outrage highlighted on the same media platforms and among public when things go wrong at GMC “Doctors don’t care, nurses don’t listen, no one takes responsibility. We were made to wait for basic treatment.” And rightly so. But when corrective action is taken, it is equally important that we support efforts to fix the system, not tear them down.

I did what I did in defence of a helpless, elderly woman. And I will continue to speak up, act, and fight for the rights of every patient who walks into our hospital.

Let us strive together for better services, more empathy, and a culture of healing that respects both the medical profession and the patients we are here to serve. @prudentgoa @InGoa24x7

It was delayed and scheduled for March.

Was postponed to July.

Then preponed to June.

And now postponed indefinitely.

भाजपा राज में समूची शिक्षा का ढाँचा माफियाओं-भ्रष्टाचारियों के हवाले हो चुका है। लालची और चाटुकार किस्म के अयोग्य लोगों के हाथ में देश की शिक्षा और बच्चों का भविष्य सौंप देने की राजनीतिक जिद और अहंकार ने पेपर लीक, परीक्षा रद्द, कैंपसों से पढ़ाई-लिखाई का विलोप और राजनीतिक गुंडागर्दी को हमारी शिक्षा-व्यवस्था की पहचान बना दिया है।

हालत ये हो गई है कि भाजपा सरकार साफ-सुथरे ढंग से एक परीक्षा तक नहीं करा सकती।

आज युवाओं के भविष्य के सामने भाजपा सरकार एकमात्र सबसे बड़ी बाधा बनकर खड़ी हो चुकी है। देश के काबिल युवा अपना सबसे कीमती समय, सारी ऊर्जा भाजपा के भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ने में गवां रहे हैं और मजबूर मोदी जी सिर्फ तमाशा देख रहे हैं।

अब NEET PG भी स्थगित!

यह नरेंद्र मोदी के राज में बर्बाद हो चुकी शिक्षा व्यवस्था का एक और दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण उदाहरण है।

भाजपा राज में छात्र अपना करियर बनाने के लिए ‘पढ़ाई’ नहीं, अपना भविष्य बचाने के लिए सरकार से ‘लड़ाई’ लड़ने को मजबूर है।

अब यह स्पष्ट है - हर बार चुप-चाप तमाशा देखने वाले मोदी पेपर लीक रैकेट और शिक्षा माफिया के आगे पूरी तरह से बेबस हैं।

नरेंद्र मोदी की अक्षम सरकार स्टूडेंट्स के भविष्य के लिए सबसे बड़ा खतरा है - हमें देश के भविष्य को उससे बचाना ही होगा।

MBBS की पाँच साल की पढ़ाई के बाद उनके साथ ये हुआ है। NTA के महा निदेशक को बदल दिया गया लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि इसके चेयरमैन प्रमोद जोशी 2006 से आयोगों के अध्यक्ष हैं । क्या प्रमोद जोशी को बचाने के लिए महानिदेशक को बदला गया है ? प्रमोद जोशी मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ लोक सेवा आयोग के अध्यक्ष रहे हैं। फिर UPSC के सदस्य और अध्यक्ष रहे हैं । फिर तीन साल के लिए NTA के चेयरमैन बनाए गए हैं। क्या इस देश में यही सबसे योग्य हैं ? इन्होंने ऐसा कौन सा क्रांतिकारी काम किया है कि ये इतने लंबे समय से बैक चैनल के ज़रिए नौकरशाही के टॉप पोस्ट पर हैं । इनकी कुंडली में ही असली राजयोग होगा । छात्रों का जीवन बर्बाद होता रहे मगर ये आयोग के अध्यक्ष बनते रहेंगे। इनका राजयोग बना रहेगा। इनका संघ से क्या कनेक्शन है? किस दम पर ये 23 साल से राज कर रहे हैं ? बाक़ी इस वीडियो में है।

प्रधानमंत्री चाहें तो NEET PG की परीक्षा रद्द होने के बाद इसके अभ्यर्थियों के साथ परीक्षा पर चर्चा कर सकते हैं। इसी बहाने कुछ दस बीस करोड़ ख़र्च भी हो जाएगा।

गोदी मीडिया और आई टी सेल चाहे तो कहीं से एंटी मुस्लिम मुद्दा ले आए ताकि बच्चों के मम्मी डैडी एंटी मुस्लिम नफ़रत में डूब कर हिन्दू सुख प्राप्त कर सकें ।

बाक़ी इस सत्यानाश पर कहने के लिए क्या ही बचा है । इस देश को चोरी और धांधली से डॉक्टर बनाने की फ़ैक्ट्री में बदल दिया गया है।
