—South Kashmir Travelogue——
The crystal-clear, ice-cold waters of the Lidder River, the lush green hills, and the breathtaking meadows of Aru Valley together create a landscape of rare natural beauty. The freshness of the mountain air and the soothing murmur of the downstream-flowing Lidder instill a profound sense of peace and gratitude. Here, nature does not speak in words—it speaks through the emerald hills, the whispering forests, the pure mountain air, the sparkling waters, and the timeless melody of the Lidder River flowing through the valley.
———Travelogue Kashmir———-
Besides the mesmerising beauty of south Kashmir, another remarkable thing I noticed while travelling from Srinagar to Anantnag, Pahalgam, and Aru Valley is the dedication of the paramilitary and Defence forces in securing the area and its residents. I saw BSF and CRPF Jawans deployed in buddy formation on the roads, standing on duty even in the rain, and remaining cheerful. That is admirable, and I am grateful to the jawans and officers performing this challenging duty with skill and efficiency. Tourists and locals were enjoying and trading in a safe environment—hats off. The Government of India and the state Government deserve to work together to reopen the tourist spots that were hindered after the last Pahalgam firing incident, which led to Ops Sindoor. This will give further impetus to tourism in Kashmir, make the state more prosperous, and bring economic activity to help disengage the youth from entering the workforce. @BSF_India@crpfindia@OmarAbdullah@ShivAroor
Kewal ji, Mr Banga is also well informed that some powerful individuals in Punjab, crossing party lines for over three decades, have built a nexus with the deep state and mafia, creating a false narrative that there is nothing left in Punjab. This has led to an exodus of youth to foreign countries, as this nexus is shattering their dreams. However, these individuals have accumulated wealth worth hundreds of crores through illegal funds, which clearly violates the PMLA and involves other financial irregularities, including real estate violations and encroachment on government assets. The problem is that no one can act against these individuals because they have established such a strong inter-party nexus and entrenched it so well that, for common poor voters, it seems to be a helpless situation. But one day, they will face the wrath of Waheguru's souls.
Sabeer, such views do exist, and they do exist only where there are old civilisations. These stories come from the very ancient times when there were no written languages. The verbal storytelling is called Saakhi ਸਾਖੀ. The true meaning of ਸੁਣਾਖੀ means ਸੁਣਾ-ਆਖੀ; it is now called “Saakhi”, the modern-day TED Talk. There used to be particular families that carried on storytelling traditions for ages. Once the script was developed, it was written down. You will find such written Granths/Books in India and in other parts of the world where old civilisations existed. These were not always myths. Read Shahnaama, a Persian epic. Bhagwan Valmiki ji also brought these saakhis down to writing, and that is how the Ramayan exists in written form. I believe the Ramayana is not a myth. Storytelling is a serious and talented profession. Not everyone can go to a TED Talk. There is a difference between walkers and Talkers, and some talkers are great storytellers, as some walkers are marathon runners.
We extend our heartfelt wishes to Shri Rahul Gandhi ji. Your unwavering commitment to constitutional values, social justice, and the voice of every Indian is a source of inspiration. May you continue to lead with courage, dedication and compassion.
Happy Birthday

——Sri Akal Takht Sahib—
Nobody can oppose Sri Akal Takht Sahib within the Sikh Panth. Every Sikh holds Sri Akal Takht Sahib in the highest regard. It is the supreme Temporal seat established by the Sixth Guru, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib. There was a specific purpose for its establishment, along with strict protocols that were provided. However, in the face of emerging circumstances, modern, educated individuals- eager for information aligned with the ecosystem- are asking valid questions:
1. Are those in authority following the prescribed protocols?
2. Does such an authority have the religious or political right to speak on any matter from the platform of Sri Akal Takht Sahib?.
3. Can the authority act against unintentional actions by a non- Sikh or a Sehajdhari Sikh, unless supported by evidence that the act was done intentionally to harm Sikh sentiments?
4. Is there any time limit or statute of limitations?
5. Can a Sikh with authority, as a representative of the Sikhs' Temporal seat, initiate indirect propagation of Moorti or picture eulogising, actions that directly oppose the core principles of Sikhism?
6. Can an authority responsible for maintaining dignity, protocols, and taking action against violators of Sikh principles that might harm the sanctity of the Sikh faith use language that is not aligned with the stature of the Gurmukh or Gurbani of Sri Guru Granth Sahib? Can such actions harm the sanctity of the Sikh faith.
7. Does such behaviour diminish the image or stature of the authority among the masses, Sikhs, or others?
8. Can a distorted political agenda be considered more important than the stature of the Temporal seat established by Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji?
9. Does this situation warrant initiating the second Gurdwara Sudhaar movement, exactly 100 years after the first?
These questions are raised by a younger generation in Punjab who are generally aware, as well as by Punjabis lacking proper religious knowledge and holding diverse political views. But these questions are vital. They imply that if the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has the right to question, then the educated citizens of Punjab also have the constitutional right to ask questions- questions that do not harm the stature or dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

Tracing a lost iPhone in just a few hours. Thanks, Delhi Police. —-My daughter lost her phone during a Sunday morning breakfast outing with friends outside their NLUD Dwarka campus. ASI Anil Kumar of the Dwarka police did remarkable work by tracing the person through CCTV footage and recovering the phone within three hours. Thanks, Anil, you deserve commendation. I have also asked the ASI not to take any action against the person who took the phone, as he was not a habitual offender. A simple warning and a profile check are usually more effective in such cases. @DelhiPolice. @CPDelhi
Sardarni Praneet Kaur ji. I respect you. But the word 'Taj Poshi' is not a term for someone who is made a party head in a democracy. He is not a monarch or a British prince, and he can never be. I would request you to change the wording in future please. He may have funded multiple politicians cutting across party lines as a businessman, for which he may consised them compromised but was was never a Raja who showered blessings; but his taking charge in democracy is
S. Kewal Singh Dhillon ji 🤣. Please don't tell lies, @kewaldhillonpb. The candidate you are referring to, whose hands you said would be cut off, was an MLA from 2002 to 2007. You forgot to tell the audience that I arrested this sitting MLA in 2003 in two cheating and fraud cases involving crores in the Truck Unions of Barnala District and kept him in jail for 42 days. I was SSP Barnala, as you know. No police officer dared to touch him before that. Do you remember? You came to Barnala much later. By then, he had become weak from fighting his cases. You won because I pursued him as a sitting MLA for his wrongdoings. You forgot to say thanks. He had the trial of both cases shifted to Ambala, blaming me, as I was then posted as SSP Sangrur. He was acquitted. Why? You did not follow up on the trials, and the witnesses from your area, whom you also knew, turned hostile. You are a Dhillon; be straightforward, brother. As a businessman, you were a friend of PS Badal too, and?? “Brother ji”.
IPL 2026. Well defended by RCB. Congratulations, RCB; Congratulations, Virat Kohli; and Congratulations, Kumarmangalam Birla. Great team effort. Sorry for GT, but the wicket of Shubman Gill, the captain, was the turning point for RCB.
I had painted this portrait of respected @gurinipspb sir some time back 😊
Most people know him for his distinguished service, sharp understanding of national issues and his strong public voice. But over time I also discovered another very beautiful side of his personality. Sir is a great foodie and has deep knowledge about traditional food, organic eating and cooking.
I still remember him once explaining to me a completely different way of cooking kathal 😄 I told sir we do not even have a cook at home, so he would have to explain it directly to me only. He was kind and gracious enough to even share his phone number and told me I could call him whenever needed for guidance regarding the same. That warmth and simplicity genuinely stayed with me.
In today's times, meeting people who carry such stature and experience so lightly, and yet remain so grounded and approachable, is truly rare.
An honour always sir 🙏

it is quite the opposite. It is a land grab by the chosen few in the name of British creation called Gymkhana. And above all, this is public land valued at more than 70000 crores in the open market. Just look into the intent behind the club's creation and who created it. The Privy purse was abolished. That imperialistic culture should have ended in 1950, once the Constitution of India came into effect and the British Monarchy was abolished. No governor-general remains in India. No monarchs are roaming around. The monarchs are now the voters and the citizens of India, not the selected few who want to enjoy the Nexus ponds.
Public fairs are held annually, and such melas can’t be organised daily. If some individuals, however rich they may be, want to maintain an imperialistic attitude, let them buy land and invest their hard-earned money in building private clubs. They should not be given exclusive rights to the property vested in the public by the Constitution. Here, even general voters and citizens of Delhi are not allowed access, let alone those from other parts of India. Wow, the greatness. This can only happen if the property is private and owned by a group of individuals. How can laws restrict entry to a place of relaxation that is run on public land? Check the law books- if someone tries to create their own rules of exclusivity, the Constitution declares them as ultra vires. I would suggest that the government pass a unified Act of India to eliminate such restrictive practices in public spaces, except for those within the complexes of various government departments or private complexes.
Now it is true, and I have verified this during my three decades of service in the police. All national highways in northern India have small existing or mushrooming religious places. Wherever new highways or bypasses are needed, the work begins beforehand. During my postings in the field, whenever a new place started to take up, I made sure it was located away from highways and bridges. Their locations are usually near river bridges, rail overbridges, and the T-points of important junctures. Most of those have one or the other way to spy on the movements of military and paramilitary forces. You will find, without fail, they are located near the security installations. In Punjab, you will find these near the Military, Air Force, and paramilitary stations without fail. They can be seen near police units as well. I never mean that all such places are epicentres or sources of spying, but they need serious review by the internal security agencies. I have verified inputs that there are moles at such places. The country needs to build consensus to identify such places and relocate them to other locations away from critical locations, including Highways, Expressways, Railway network, waterways, water bodies, and high-security risk locations and installations. They can be cut off as early as possible; those that existed before 1947 and have heritage value may be kept as such, but with very effective counter-intelligence measures. All such religious places need funding for relocation. GOI shall have dedicated funding for the special purpose of high-value. This issue has an interconnection between internal Security and National security. The consensus and funding are very important; above all, a dedicated working group at the Delhi #MHA, with members from the stakeholder departments. @AmitShah. The issue has sensitivities, but an effective, professional approach by state and district administrations can address them, because the first point is data compilation on fair merit. Working out a paper for each location without clubbing one location with another, except where such locations are conjoint, at the very inception.
Beautiful evening drive from New Delhi on the NE-5, the Delhi-Katra Eway. Excellent markings, great view of the countryside from this elevated https://t.co/M0k0kTOuhO off near Bhawanigarh for Patiala. Imagine if this road were completed up to Katra. Punjab will benefit the most.
