Flashback to April 2025. I picked up $IREN at $6 when it looked completely neglected and nobody was optimistic about it (except @peterjwolff & @Bare_Birk ). Sold at $20 thinking I was being smart… then watched it shoot up to almost $76 that summer. Now here we are with MARA sitting around $8.70. Feels exactly the same, post-halving pain, but they just slashed debt by 30% after selling some BTC, and the AI/data center pivot is picking up speed with the Starwood JV and Exaion deal. Their power assets are ready for HPC.History rhyming again? Could turn into the next big runner if the AI bet works out. DYOR. $MARA

@Bare_Birk @peterjwolff Higher risk should come with higher reward. I’m not against IREN, I’m simply looking for the most obvious upside.

On management, I don’t have a strong conviction yet. That said, the partnerships with Starwood and Exaion add credibility in my view.

@Chris_Aram23 @Thebiglade There are still issues with self driving cars, and you talk about replacing surgeons as a whole. I can say that once dentists are replaced by AI and robots, then no one has a job anymore. I am not saying its impossible, but forget about the next three years.

Many people still don’t know that thousands of Greenlandic girls and women were subjected to forced contraception in the 1950s and 60s. IUDs were inserted without proper information or consent, in some cases in very young girls. This is not ancient history. It was a serious violation of human rights, and it deserves recognition, honesty, and accountability. It’s also a reminder that Danish governance does not have only a bright side, as some might think.
