My most neocon opinion is that we do not respond militarily enough to this kind of meddling in western society.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

a reminder again that the reason hegseth is like this is in his lone combat command he freaked out so badly his superiors deemed him a threat to his own troops and moved him to civil affairs so he now has insane insecurities

There are fewer than 2,000 Yukaghirs alive today and the Yukaghir languages have fewer than 500 speakers. Russia is sending them to the Ukraine meat grinder, while 3rd-world minority activists and decolonialists cheer.

Maybe I'm missing something. But why is "punishment" for the Cornell r@pısts being handled by the university and not law enforcement?????

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese @AlboMP and I signed a bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and Australia, opening up even more opportunities to deepen our partnership. Today, Australia also announced a new $60 million defense contribution for energy, protective equipment, and humanitarian assistance. I thanked the Prime Minister for this important support and assured him that Ukraine, in return, is ready to share our experience and technologies. Naval drones, ground platforms, and AI-powered systems – all of these go far beyond purely combat applications and can significantly strengthen national security. We agreed that our teams will work on preparing a Drone Deal.

Australia has also introduced a new sanctions package targeting Russia’s accomplices and shadow fleet vessels. This is a very appropriate signal at a time when there are attempts in Europe to remove Putin’s oligarchs from sanctions lists. I thank the Prime Minister, the Government, and all of Australia for their unwavering support!

This is what AfD and BSW support, by the way.

The Kennedy Memorial is made of irreplaceable marble that was gifted by Italy.

Matisse tapestries found throughout were gifted from France.

The massive starburst chandelier in the Opera Hall, and lights along walkways, were a gift from Sweden.

The record-breaking stage curtains were a gift from Japan. They had to build special looms to weave them because of how big they are.

The grounds are beautiful with displays of art.

This is what Trump is destroying.

Rape of girls as young as 4 and women as old as 82. Routine genital electrocution of male Ukrainian prisoners.

This is just a fragment of the absolutely nightmarish stuff from the just-released UN report on sexual violence in Russia's invasion of Ukraine:

• Violations detailed in the report include rape, gang rape, genital mutilation, electric shocks, and genital beating
• Russian forces are responsible for the vast majority of sexual violence in Ukraine
• The majority of victims are Ukrainian men. In a common form of torture against Ukrainian POWs detailed in the report, Russian forces electrocuted men's genitals using tasers or a Soviet-era military field telephone known as a 'tapik.'
• Women and children, primarily in Ukrainian territory occupied by Russian forces, also fell victim to rapes and sexual assault. The youngest documented rape survivor was a four-year-old girl, and the oldest was an 82-year-old woman, with both cases perpetrated by Russian forces.

Incredible journalism.

60 Minutes has a convicted felon go undercover to talk to “pardon brokers,” people who will try to get you a pardon from Trump if you pay them.

This administration’s corruption has created entire new job categories.

My Lord.

@JoeBiden, 83 years old, battling Stage 4 cancer that has spread to his bones, stood for HOURS alongside @DrBiden as the names of 9/11 victims were read.

Donald Trump fell asleep at the 9/11 event at the Pentagon.

One showed respect despite his pain. The other couldn't even stay awake.

Trump is an embarrassment to the nation and the office he holds.

Really says it all.
