by anger after two years of being abandoned without a word.
“…why are you here?”
his voice came out rough, nothing like the gentle tone he had once reserved for apollo. his eyes were dark, every ounce of his anger and resentment impossible to hide.
calix was used to apollo being out late at night and coming home in the early hours of the morning, or even disappearing for a few days before eventually returning to him.

apollo has gone through the impending interaction multiple times in his head — it’s gone from sad, to happy, to exciting … having a readied script for all possible scenarios . - &.
leaving behind nothing but an ache and an emptiness that refused to fade.
it felt more like a nightmare than a dream when apollo appeared at his door. the shock of seeing the man he’d planned to spend the rest of his life with was quickly swallowed——
“.. not exactly. i’ve been around— i’m just not much of a social person so i tend to stick to my home.”
she takes a moment to get a better look at the woman, tugging her hand from the firm grip, “you look familiar.”
a glance to the hand before shaking it firmly, the sort of grip one gets after years in the corporate world.
“ raziel temps. pleasure to meet you, jiwoo. I haven’t seen you around her often. new to this part of seoul? ”
jiwoo offers her a small smile, holding her hand out to the other in proper greeting this time.
“i’m jiwoo. probably should’ve started off with that in the first place.”
a curious glance over at the other, before the few steps are taken away— “didn’t realize i was standing so close. my bad.”
the hybrid’s nose twitches the slightest bit as she takes in the scent coming from them. huh.. weird.
