There is so much new housing and nice office space in downtown Oakland. They should be absorbing the overflow.
@panickssery@kane When I was a student they used to do a festival and live music a couple times a year. But that was over 10 years ago and they would clear out the homeless for those events.
@kane Lol dude it definitely operated as a park and had historical significance . It had a field, a stage, swings, trash cans. It also had homeless people hanging out and doing drugs.
I’m also glad the university bulldozed it to build much needed student housing.
