In yet another successful _Multi-Organ Retrieval operation by the #AFMS, a team of Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics from #ArmyHospital (R&R), New Delhi harvested organs from a deceased 59 year old lady, wife of a retired JCO of the #AMC on 22 April 2025 at #Command Hospital (Central Command), Lucknow. The donor suffered head injuries following a Road Traffic Accident and was admitted to Comd Hosp (CC) Lucknow. She was declared brain dead after spending 15 hours in the hospital. This being the first deceased donor multi organ harvest done at #CommandHospital, Lucknow, one kidney was transplanted at Command Hospital (CC) into a retired NCO, the second kidney was shared with #SGPGI, Lucknow and the Liver was retrieved for transplantation at #ArmyHospital (Research and Referral), New Delhi.
