Forgive me, @VanJones68, for not being moved or impressed by your “brave”acknowledgement of Charlie’s decency. Anyone with even a passing relationship with Charlie will tell you about his willingness to engage civilly with whom he disagrees. So, you deserve a cookie for stating the obvious?

More to the point, you are the same Van Jones who, when CNN declared Trump winner on election night in 2016, immediately attributed President-elect Trump’s victory to “white-lash,” spearheading the still widely believed BS narrative that Trump only won because angry, racist white people  elected him. 

I’d be more impressed if, and when, you acknowledge and apologize for your major role as a CNN commentator in promoting the hideous and racist anti-white Big Lie that Trump is a dog-whistling white supremacist elected by white supremacist racist voters as a reaction—in your words—“against a changing country and, in part, against a black president.”

WTF?!? When will you apologize for your Big Time role in helping to fostering the one side-hates-the other division in America that induced a disturbed man to buy into that narrative and assassinate Charlie. You are a primary reason why polls show nearly 85% of 
blacks consider Trump “racist.”

And now you want a Bronze Star for saying Charlie was a good guy? Pass me the barf bag.
