A woman who is proud to be a wife, mom, friend, soul sister, Elementary teacher, dog mom, animal lover and I thank God for each day that I am given to be here.
As the school year begins to wind down, I just want to say thank you to every teacher out there.
Thank you for the early mornings, the long days, the patience, the encouragement, and the thousands of small moments most people never see.
Thank you for believing in kids when they struggled.Thank you for showing up even on the hard days.Thank you for the difference you made in the lives of children this year.
What you do matters more than you know.
Now as the year comes to a close, take care of yourself too. Rest. Recharge. Breathe. You’ve earned it.
And if no one has told you lately,
Thank you for all you do.
A student brought her baby to class when she had no other option. Instead of seeing it as a disruption, her professor recognized a young mother doing her best.
The professor stepped in, gently took the baby in her arms, and continued teaching the lesson. The student was able to focus and learn without worry.
Beautiful example of compassion and support. ❤️
Before We Teach, We Care.
Before test scores, behavior plans, and curriculum… there are humans.
Students need safety, connection, and understanding before they can learn.
Staff need support before they can give their best.
Connection > correction.
Relationships drive results.
When we take care of the humans first, the learning follows.

A female Swan that fell ill and was taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment. This is the moment when she reunited with her partner, from whom she had been separated for three weeks.
A truly moving moment 🦢 ❤️.
