Fanfic has lost the element of community.

Some readers endlessly devour content without engaging, ignoring WIPs and active writers.

Some writers treat readers as "fans" instead of an actual community that needs to be nourished. Not engaging with actual Fandom content at all.

Fandom doesnt stay alive when there is no community.

We are supposed to discuss, communicate, fan girl, brain storm, head Canon share, etc.

Like we are all fans of the same thing. 🥲
