Anime adaptations of a manga give the writer a chance to basically try a different approach then they originally wrote and I am perfectly fine with an anime differing from the manga.

Preferring english dubs over subs is a matter of clear translations.

Extra words do not make subtitles superior.

If people wanted more info they WOULD bother with the manga.
