It isn't so much as making new diverse heroes as it is all the actors are getting old and will need to be recast anyways. Combine that with the whole mess they have made with phases 4-6 and a reset makes sense. They start over and bring in new actors and both the FF and X-Men are in the same universe as Avengers and the rest of the MCU. They then never bring up the term multiverse again. Now will they execute it well? I doubt it, I really really doubt it. I would say it is needed at this point though, because of all the mess they made after Endgame.

Considering the two alternative strategies of an invasion or starvation blockade would have killed millions of Japanese civilians the A bombs were the more merciful way to end the war. Japan obviously recognizes that fact and doesn't hold it against us. The fact that you are being offended and attacking them on behalf of the victimhood they are supposed to be feeling, according to you, just shows what an awful person you are.

He will likely go after the Paramount deal goes through. He doesn't like the guy who runs it, and hasn't given Paramount a reason to keep him around. So when his contract is done he will likely be out. With the sale underway, WB probably just couldn't be bothered to try and get rid of him before his contract was done.

Well Gunn said it was going to be based on the Tom King miniseries, which was not well liked by many comic fans. Milly Alcock said a number of divisive things on the lead up to the movie. Gunn didnt do a thing to alleviate concerns about the movie and his general tone seemed reinforce fears people had about the movie. Those things add up and just fuel negative feelings people had about what the move could be like.

Technically Cap doesnt have powers. The superhuman boost the serum gave him is gone, but it has permanently put his body at peak human. The only superhuman ability he has retained is his body no longer produces fatigue poisons so he has superhuman levels of stamina. So he is not nor will he ever be again a 98 pound weakling.

If you are going to attempt the Phoenix saga then the only way to do it justice is to make it a trilogy like lotr. First movie is X-men battle in space and Jean becomes host to Phoenix to save the X-men. At the end Prof X is wondering what her new power levels will mean. Movie two is her fighting with the team and we see her power growing, and subtle changes in her personality. Last movie is her being corrupted by a villain and going full Dark Phoenix. She kills the guy who corrupted her and does so.e other atrocities. The X-men fight her and she realizes what she has become, so she sacrifices herself to end any chance of going out of control again.
