I needed this story today.
“We were in Athens yesterday and Avery had to go to the bathroom really, really bad.
She and I ran into the closest place which was a Subway in downtown Athens. We ran straight to the bathroom and the employee got my attention and told me the bathroom was only for paying customers.
I didn’t have my wallet with me 🤦🏻♀️and I told him I was sorry, I didn’t have my wallet and we would leave.
Without hesitation these 2 young men spoke up and said they would buy a cookie for Avery so she could be a “paying customer” so she could use the restroom. I was so grateful, thanked them profusely and dashed in the restroom with Avery.
We came back out and they were still there, so I thanked them again and started talking with them. Turns out they both play on the UGA football team. (Go Dawgs)
We had a great conversation and exchanged some laughs, and talked about football.
To some it may seem like a small act, but I was so thankful and impressed that these 2 college kids who don’t have kids of their own gave so freely and without hesitation to help us out.
The world needs MORE of this!
Thank you Latavious & Jaylen!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fine young men who asked for nothing in return and a great example. A much needed ray of sunshine.
Food for thought.
Go Dawgs!! ❤️🖤”

Republican Former Governor Larry Hogan on the 6 GOP candidates who pledged last night that they'd support Trump even if he’s convicted of a crime:
"That was the lowlight of the entire debate. I was embarrassed and disgusted by it...
No man is above the law, not even the president of the United States. And for, you know, six people to raise their hand and say, I would put a convicted felon in the WH, it’s just beyond comprehension. I mean, in most states, convicted felons don’t even have the right to vote. They’re not registered voters. But we would put them in the WH."
Bad News: we are falling behind in our August fundraising. With Kyrsten Sinema raking in MILLIONS and Kari Lake preparing to announce she’s running for this seat, we can't afford to fall behind this early in the race.
Can you chip in and get us back on track?
Every Republican saying that Biden is only giving $700 to each household in Hawaii is either lying or they don’t know how to do research.
$700 is for critical need assistance and it’s the maximum FEMA can send without congressional approval. Biden cannot send more legally without going to Congress first.
I don’t see a SINGLE Republican getting on the phone and calling their representatives and demanding that they increase FEMA funding to make this sum larger.
This is also not the only thing they’re doing for Hawaii. The White House has put out an entire fact sheet of things they’ve done from small business assistance, home rebuilding programs, food, water, shelter, transportation, ground support and more.
It’s truly disgusting how Republicans have turned critical need assistance funding into a political point.
This is a good evening to mention Mary Trump. What a weird position she’s been in with her Uncle and his life long venture of operating lawlessly.
Rather than shy away from it, she leaned into it all. And, when she did…I think she blossomed in a magnificent way. She’s contributed a great deal of support to the country, and explained what he’s like in his private life in great detail, giving us all valuable insights.
I often think about the void that would exist had she not have come forward like she did. I always draw the same conclusion: Things would have felt even more “wobbly” and uncertain without her.
I’m grateful.
BREAKING: An atomic bombshell of bad news detonates on Donald Trump as well-informed sources reveal that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to seek over a dozen indictments in her investigation into the efforts to steal the 2020 election.
This is so much worse than MAGA expected.
The apocalyptic wave of indictments is expected to include conspiracy and racketeering charges and numerous defendants. Trump's minions who could be hit with charges as early as next week. It's also expected that Trump himself will be charged — adding to his growing pile of indictmets.
Already, the grand jury has heard from over 75 witnesses including former Republican Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan and former Georgia Democratic state Sen. Jen Jordan.
Fani Willis is not messing around. Trump will be made to pay for his crimes.

BREAKING: Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi brutally mocks Donald Trump after his latest arraignment on charges from Special Counsel Jack Smith with exactly the kind of insult that is sure to get under Trump's infamously thin skin.
Pelosi went right for Trump's jugular and said that while she wasn't in the courtroom for the four fresh indictments, she did see him "coming out of his car and this or that" and saw that he looked like a "scared puppy."
Ouch. Trump is a man who prides himself on the fantasy that he is a tough, powerful alpha male. In reality, that's an entirely fabricated persona that he's carefully constructed to dupe his supporters.
Pelosi didn't stop with the puppy remark either—
"He looked very, very, very concerned about the fate," she said, adding that adding she did not see the "bravado or confidence or anything like that" that he usually goes to great pains to project.
"He knows the truth, the truth that he lost the election. And now he’s got to face the music," said Pelosi.
With each passing day, Trump is forced more and more to confront the fact that he will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.
Trump and Pelosi were sworn enemies during his administration and she is one of the primary reasons that he wasn't able to inflict even more damage on our democracy. It looks like she's going to get the last laugh in the end.

I just left the interview of Devon Archer and I was the only member who stayed for the whole time.
These are the facts:
1) Archer testified that Joe Biden NEVER discussed any business with Hunter and his associates.
2) there was no bribe from Burisma to Joe or Hunter.
