Because it’s the comic that continued from each other the comics didn’t adapt anything from the comics they continue the story. They just changed some things most of the time to make it make sense or more appealing for mature audience. Instead of total bullshit the movies are different subject because you’re adapting from the comics that’s why they call them adaptions most media do add a lot more or to the characters like the Superman show who giving him the ability but that doesn’t mean it’s an original source of material. It’s a part of source material which is now been adapted into the comics. My point is Superman is a beacon of Hope his personality is a kind hearted soul who generally values human life this is from the comics and it’s been in the comics for years. The Snyder movies are supposed to be an adaption of the DC Universe not an exact copy but you have to get the morals and characters right still Snyder did none of that that’s why that Superman sucked
