Is there a way to build a following without having to post short or long-form content on multiple platforms?
I’ve tried YouTube, instagram, etc and it never really did much for me.
I’d spend every week editing videos to post and ROI wasn’t worth it.
Someone suggested months back I try voice acting, but I think at this point that ship has sailed.
Despite trying out for probably 100 roles, I was not selected for one. I made a demo reel and sent individual files for each specific role lines. No word back on most. 2 rejects.
When did the shift occur that we constantly have to be available? I don’t want to be attached to my devices 24/7 for people to expect me to answer immediately. I have a life.
When did jobs start forcing us to be available after hours unpaid?
I left discord because it was frustrating having to be available all of the time. Being forced to join 30 servers for your friends streams was just too much for me and then they get upset if you either don’t join or leave.
I want to reach out to more vtubers but also don’t want to deal with the drama or constantly having to keep up with them to maintain friendships.
This community can be exhausting.
I will attempt a Monday/wednesday/Friday streaming schedule either costume making and gaming. We’ll see how it goes but my schedule may get busy again.
@pencuqin Sounds about right. None of the people I commed had the broker label until just recently so I was surprised. You’re one of like two artists I saw who didn’t get booted 😭
I just hope there’s affordable artists on there even after the purge
