@Dr2NisreenAlwan I agree. But have been asked several times by peer reviewers to make that clear. Some academics do indeed see it as a limitation of research
It’s perfectly normal to feel like a fish out of water during your PhD because you’re there to learn new and advanced things
If you already knew them, and hence were already comfortable with them, then there’d be no need to do a PhD because you wouldn’t learn anything
