🚁 Helicopter stories 📕

The children have been creating their own stories using their imagination.
Afterwards the stories are read aloud to the class and the children have fun acting them out 🎭

Our Fairtrade fortnight challenge: to use drama techniques to illustrate the importance of shopping Fairtrade 💚 We are enjoying using iMovie and flipaclip to share our facts! @BPSRights @DramaBps

@DramaBps World Book Day 📚 We played drama games with a focus on vocabulary! We loved daft definitions (putting 2 words together and making up a new definition) and present surprise (acting out opening up a gift and improvising what it is) 🎭 #BPSDrama

For drama today, we chose a moment from our Jacobite timeline and re-enacted it through freeze frame 🎉 The rest of the class had to guess which moment their peers were acting out! The class loved linking IDL to drama 💜 #BPSDrama #BPSScottishWeek

Teacher in Role 🎭 Inspired by Dr Seuss’ The Sneetches, we chose 1 group of children to receive ‘special treatment’ for 10 mins 💻😲 This powerful exercise allowed the class to experience ‘being treated unfairly’ on a small scale, allowing for brilliant discussions afterwards 🗯

As part of the Inspired Drama Teacher training, we tried “I can’t remember what happens next” and whooshing stories 🎭 We LOVED adding onto each other’s tales, using lots of adjectives from our writing! They liked jumping into the stories and acting them out too 🥰 @dramaresource
