An incident fades from public memory as soon as it disappears from the news. Hence, a reminder:

The protests at RG Kar Medical College are still ongoing against Mamata Banerjee. Today marks the 15th day of the hunger strike. Six doctors have been hospitalized, and 50 senior doctors have resigned.

The demands include speedy justice, improved security, the dismissal of those involved in covering up the case, a central protection act, better infra, end to the threat-culture, etc.

Needless to say, the CM isn't too concerned now that the issue has slipped from public memory. Her MP, Kalyan Banerjee, even mocked the hunger strike.

@DrDhruvchauhan There are 3 factors at play:

1. Specific students at specific centres are given grace marks to make them topper by #NTA itself.

2. Paper sold by mafia after leak in Bihar as expected

3. Whole centre involved in helping students like in Godhra, Gujarat.
