"Ever since I was little, I've been extremely sensitive to sound. Good music feels like something that's etched into my bones, it's as if it's part of my cells, something that's simply grown into who I am.

I may have originally debuted as a singer, but after debuting, it gradually felt like I was getting farther and farther away from being a singer.

In 2025, I performed at the Spring Festival Gala. That one call of 'Tanggula' felt like the beginning of reopening the chapter of Singer Hou Minghao, or perhaps a small breakthrough that marked the return of that identity."

Everything said by this OP below, I agree wholeheartedly. I truly believe he wore "The wall will fall / beliefs become reality" T-shirt to Singer rehearsals for a reason. He can't say it outright, not while he's still under contract but I feel he's been telling us the truth in the only way he can. In his song choices. In his interviews. In his interactions. In his silences. In the clothes he wears to the biggest stage of his life. "Wealth is health" he's been saying that too. Not about money. About his voice. Hesong isn't just overworking him, they're actively endangering the very instrument that makes him a singer. A costume drama is physically the most demanding genre of filming especially durung summer and they know exactly what it does to a voice. They want him back in Hengdian because it lines their pockets even if it costs him the voice he just spent a lifetime building.
