Background info: Lately I've been going back to the drawing board (haha) & rethinking how I illustrate. Some of my techniques weren’t really working & overall things were getting a bit stale. I’m settling on some new methods that I like & this illustration is an example of that.

@laufman @Dropbox Why do companies keep stepping on rakes when it comes to this topic? Seems like they need to understand what their users do and don’t want before rushing out with this stuff. I suppose they see $$$ and probably hope the uproar will just go away. (Both cynical takes I admit.)

@otisframpton It’s crazy that they got no attention for so long. I remember running across “The Abyss” on Prime Video years ago and got excited to watch it. I then noticed that it was SD and pan-and-scan and I was like WTF.

@ThisIsCreation Reminds me of an article I read about “The Abyss” (which is finally coming to 4K 👏). Studio execs were unsure about Ed Harris in part because of his receding hairline. Cameron thought it made him look like a regular guy and was right for the part.
