We will be providing additional resources to ensure safety in the community, including the menorah lighting tonight at the Vancouver Art Gallery. I say this as someone for whom this is my profession: elimination of a disease is not the same as eradication. When a country has eliminated measles, it means that cases still occur, but do not result in SUSTAINED ongoing outbreaks, because vaccination levels are high.
