@BrandonLuuMD@NaphiSoc If you do have Covid, the ease of using RATs means that you can exit test. Personally, I wouldn’t want to be responsible for infecting anyone else. You’re an MD, so I assume you see patients.
@hombrealmohada6 @wonderartsy I didn’t. Covid taught me a lot about airborne transmission of illnesses. I have gained knowledge and adjusted my behaviour accordingly.
@M1aSpringfield@PedsGeekMD In Australia, we’ve seen a decrease in cervical cancer rates.
The vaccine has been part of our national vaccine program since 2007
@CharlieHorseToy Same, one from each kid, 6 months apart. We managed to prevent transmission to the rest of the family thankfully. Hope you all recover quickly.
@Renmarkable1 Omg, this was the same in my Woolworths yesterday (in Sydney). I actually needed paracetamol - bought the home brand, there were only a few packets left
@richardhirschs1@TRyanGregory We don’t have up to date vaccinations. Also if one cannot tolerate mRNA vaccines, then there is nothing available. You’re in NSW right? So you know we only have 1 out of date vaccine available (XBB version).
@DSEDunn@CovidSolidarit1@ExperienceHe It would be wonderful if teachers masked! They were fine with my kids masking (never said anything, treated differently or asked them to remove), but yes, being a lone masker is tough!
@DSEDunn@CovidSolidarit1@ExperienceHe I hate that this is our reality, but I can’t homeschool, so I have no other option. Our school has air purifiers, nicely tucked away, unplugged, in the corners gathering dust 🙄 at the very least though, they allow sick kids to stay at home!
@DSEDunn@CovidSolidarit1@ExperienceHe My kids used to mask at school, they were teased and ostracised; they were the only masked kids. Being a teenager is tough enough. I take every other strategy possible (I mask indoors and in crowds). We have HEPA filters, nasal spray, throat gargle and lozenges for home.
