Woken up to startling news; Jacinda Ardern resigns as NZ PM after concluding she “no longer has enough in the tank to do it justice”. I’ve only ever seen political leaders forced out or voted out, but in Ardern we find a rare exception, who again shows us how to lead differently
Facilitated reflective practice today, which was a lovely way to end the working week. Despite many of the challenges experienced in a stretched and exhausted NHS, the staff team demonstrated incredible care, compassion and motivation 💫🌈 @Mersey_Care
It was incredible seeing the amazing lived experience director post being advertised by @mpftnhs and equally as infuriating seeing the denigration of the role over the last few days by politicians, media outlets, and other health professionals.

Sincere thread for people who aren’t sure about why nurses are striking:
Nursing is one of the lowest paid graduate jobs in the country. A newly qualified nurse will go in at £27k a year but with significant debt, having worked for free for three years prior to qualifying. 1/
Thank you to @shoko_chen and Co. for a great couple of days learning about the HOPE(S) model and reducing restrictive practice - alongside a lovely bunch of motivated and invigorated staff too. I’m reminded of the great work we do in secure services 💜
