The polls have closed
I’m angry, upset, disappointed and feel sick by the predictions that Reform will win multiple councils
This is an awful day for British politics
@jinnieshinnie Never seen/heard of a country where doctors are so undervalued like this one. That the person treating and making life altering decisions for you has to still make a case for why they deserve £4 more is an absolute joke lol Everyone is surely laughing at the UK, its shameful
Islamophobia is a smokescreen, a linguistic trick many moderate Muslims, especially activists, use to excuse radicals & let them off the hook.
It’s simple: they use it to collapse ideology into identity, protect extremists, and silence dissent. Globally, this tactic:
•shuts down criticism,
•delegitimizes critics,
•kills debate,
•gives extremists a moral shield.
Many years of bachelor's degree, masters degree, medical school, foundation training, specialty training, post graduate exams, training portfolio, thousands of hours of independent study...
...but told I'm equivalent to someone who did a two year masters degree 🫠
Former President Muhammadu Buhari weakened Nigeria’s economy, oversaw the killing of peaceful protesters, and silenced dissenting voices — all without accountability or reparations. And now, we’re expected to revere him in death?
Anyone who was in Jos in 2001 can never forget the Jos crisis and it should never be forgotten...it was a religious war, neighbour turned on neighbour, friend on friend. Let's not play
Fatima, I was born in Jos, lived in kaduna and Abuja. Fatima, have you ever heard about the dogo’nahawa crisis?
Fatima, Muslims put knives on our neck in Jos and told us to recite the Sahada or die. Fatima, they killed thousands of non-Muslims for the sake of “religious cleansing” you’re privileged so please stop speaking from your privilege. It’s very terrible.
Matter of fact, I’m even scared to insult you before a lynching mob comes to burn me for insulting someone with the name of their prophet’s wife.
Following the publicity generated by the intervention of his friends, legal team and family which started on Friday, Nigerian authorities are planning to move @PIDOMNIGERIA from FCID detention to a dark site run by ONSA.

@Moyoscoooo Without structure and resources what healthcare are you actually accessing? And if you do access it, maybe get diagnosed but with no resources to treat? And that's not even in an emergency. That the NHS is very far from perfect does not mean it doesn't function.
Door is open to discuss but your decision is final. Talking out both sides of their mouths. How is anybody supposed to trust this?? The strikes continue. #JuniorDoctorStrike
My door is always open to discuss how we can work together with NHS staff to improve their working lives.
But this pay award is final, so I urge the BMA to call an end to this callous and calculated disruption. (4/4)
