I was so surprised and excited to see one of my own former 4th graders in the class who is pursuing education as a career. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these students and this program! #InspireCPS

I spent the morning at the @cpkcareercenter in the Early Childhood Education class! Thank you Mrs. Benham for inviting me to spend time with your students this morning… I absolutely loved learning about your program and meeting some future @cpschoolsva teachers!

I reiterated over and over again the respect I have for teachers and how it is the hardest but most important work. I love how this program gives the students so much exposure to a classroom environment while simultaneously earning college credits!

Kids Kruz will always be one of my favorite events because there is nothing like experiencing Christmas joy through the eyes of a child. Thank you to Jay Archbell and the JCA Foundation for your generosity and providing so many Chesapeake students this unique opportunity ❤️🎄💚
