The video wasn’t taken by him, neither was it taken in secrecy. His caption is framed in a manner that seeks to inquire rather than assert.

He hasn’t doctored the video to falsely accuse the president of making those statement. Even if the video is doctored, it must be proven that he is the originator of the doctored video.

Felix responded to this viral video and explained what the president meant by the amount he mentioned. This alone should collapse any claims of the video being doctored.

So it begs the question, why a national service personnel was allegedly picked up from his place of work on Thursday, July 30th by national security operatives based on these sets of fact, be denied access to his lawyers and be kept behind bars for over 48 hours without bail nor charges of a crime committed to be arraigned before a court?

Why should the constitutional right of a citizen be violated in every possible way because he asked a simple question?

Efficiency in investigation cannot trump constitutional protections. Rights exist precisely to restrain the State at moments of maximum power.
