All surfaces cut across the course, second cut finished on green surrounds and ongoing on the fairways. Ditches strimmed and penalty areas marked. Bunkers raked.

In May we had 15 days of rainfall and collected 106mm in the gauge. Last year we had 71mm

All the hard work on the pitch is starting to pay off but there's still loads more to do on this and around the rest of the ground.

Date for your diary - Sunday 19th July when a Ramsbottom United XI will play host to a Manchester United Old Boys XI at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, 2pm kick off.

It's pay on the gate, £10 adults and £5 concessions with 50% of proceeds going to @BleakholtUK. It promises to be a great afternoon's entertainment all in aid of a fantastic local cause.
