One reason I have shifted away from classical liberalism to a more right authoritarian position is that I do not believe liberal systems are proving resilient against these kinds of people.

I have no faith in rights or rule of law to protect me from them. I think they will exploit those things when they are weak and they will dismantle them when they were strong.
