Nidal Hasan is scheduled for execution by firing squad at Fort Hood on Dec. 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. CT.

Pete Hegseth said the execution would be public so people could watch. Pentagon officials later told AP, ABC, BBC, and others it will be livestreamed, with details still to come.

It would be the first U.S. military execution since 1961 and the first by firing squad since 1945. Legal challenges could still delay it. The platform for the stream has not been named.

On November 5, 2009, Nidal Hasan walked into the Soldier Readiness Processing Center at the Fort Hood military base in Texas armed with a laser-sighted handgun. He opened fire on unarmed soldiers who were completing medical checks before deploying overseas.

Hasan killed 13 people (12 active-duty soldiers and one civilian Army employee) and wounded 32 others

I do want to know your thoughts on this. Keep in mind, no one is forcing you to watch.

Personally, I’m okay with this. Punishment has become so lax that criminal behavior is running rampant because of the lack of accountability. I support bringing back public executions.

And I think we should do the same for convicted ped0s. I’d be willing to bet the number of child predators would significantly decrease after the first public execution.

No, it is VERY clear what is causing it but if you admit it then you admit to what everyone else was saying.
