In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Team MCD, under the guidance of Hon’ble Mayor Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh and the leadership of Worthy Commissioner Shri Sanjeev Khirwar, has undertaken the lifting of waste from inaccessible locations, marking a significant milestone in scientific waste management.

250 MT of waste was lifted last night in Karol Bagh Zone at Daya Basti Railway Station, loaded across 10 bogie rail wagons for the transportation of legacy waste, with green net covering ensuring safe and environmentally responsible handling.

It also said that the services will continue on the new Rail One App, with the R-Wallet balance transferred automatically.

It added that Passengers are advised to register on the Rail One App using the same mobile number linked to the UTS Mobile app.

Jind, Haryana: India’s first hydrogen-powered train successfully completed its trial run. The train departed Jind railway station at 8.30 am with eight coaches and ran at a speed of 70 kmph towards Lalit Kheda before returning. Railway staff and RPF personnel were on board during the test. The trial will continue for a week. If successful, the train is expected to operate on the Jind–Sonipat route

Shri Sudheer Kumar Singh, IRTS:2010 successfully finished the Ironman 70.3 Goa Challenge which consists of 1.9 km swim, followed with 90 km cycling and culminating with 21 km run.
Goa is known to host one of the toughest Ironman races, with its challenging elevated cycling and running courses, coupled with extreme heat and humidity.

His courage and dedication exemplifies the multi-faceted exposure of IRTS officers moving not the just wheels of railways but adding wings to surpass numerous other challenges.
