Hello there, MtG players. I'm Chewie Styles (aka the Deck Doctor) and my goal is to deliver objective reviews of MtG products, primarily via Commander.
@wachelreeks Actually, part of the problem with the set is that it replaced Partners all together with Backgrounds. Also the reliance on dice rolling on certain cards, and Schrodinger's dungeon. I understand what they were going for, but that doesn't make them good ideas.
@mathimus55 I wouldn't say that. My issues are mechanical. Reliance on dice rolling, Schrodinger's dungeon, and backgrounds replacing Partner. All terrible.
@ghirapurigears I haven't seen many issues in my area, outside of one person who only has tier 10 decks and refuses to go lower. Most of us run in the 5-8 range.
@ghirapurigears Edit: I don't believe the token would get the boost, due to the fact that they're not declared attackers. They're already attacking as they come in. However, the noncopies still get the boost from the copies because it would trigger after the tokens are already in.
@Gubbymtg @ghirapurigears Now, because of how the order of operations functions, you have to pick by reverse order in which they came out. So, the wolves, then the initial creatures.
@ghirapurigears Yes. Myriad triggers when the creature attacks and Isshin doubles abilities that trigger as creatures attack. As a side note, the Myriad from the equipment doesn't stack with a creature that already has Myriad.
@NexusMTG I have a mono black build run by og Chainer. The idea is to kill my opponent's creatures so I can reanimate them and beat them with their own creatures. I call it "Pet Sematary".
