It’s open mic day at ACIC for 6th grade. As part of their fall PBL experience, Ss wrote and shared their own version of “Where I Am From” poems. We are so proud of their work and the courage they showed by sharing their personal stories to their classmates.
Love walking in a classroom and catching MTSS being done right! These 4th classroom is a great example of what can happen when a teacher is intentional about meeting the needs of their students.
Class mission statements are a great way to build a culture of learning and support! I love that each one is diverse, but also show a consistent message of what we value in our ACIC community.
Taking book tasting to a whole new level with Starbooks Cafe—so proud of our 5th grade ELA team for creating an experience like none other for their learners! #ACICELABookCafe

As educators we MUST model effective reflection (especially when what we are doing isn’t working) and allow our students to observe how we grow from responsive feedback.
The most negligent thing we can do for our learners is to think our Tier 1 is fine like it is & just keep doing what we've always done.
Improvement happens with change.
Not by adding more programs or interventions or budget items.
We had a wonderful time last week at ACPC for Jumpstart Kindergarten! Thanks to the flawless planning of to @MrsFluit_Kinder & @MrsSalchli, everything from drop off to dismissal ran like clockwork. We have lots of excited little Patriots ready for K! #ACPC#acsreads
So proud of our teachers for putting in the time to learn how to make our classrooms more powerful for our students! They deserve our best and each step we take makes our future brighter in Allen County Schools!
