Thanks to @Larryferlazzo for publishing my Q&A about this important tool for the #writingrevolution@FCPS_ESOL
Using the message of @karalawson20 to motivate multilingual students to believe in their own power to achieve academic goals 🤩💯
Thanks to @Larryferlazzo and @educationweek for this opportunity to share some inspiration
@jasontries Chrome Canvas @GoogleForEdu allows students to draw and download their creations. But I agree with you that better drawing tools in Slides would be an excellent, streamlined solution for students and teachers. https://t.co/sDx1XNWe73
@simongerman600 This just sparked an idea for character analysis. Combine two emoji that represent the character and defend your choices with evidence from the text. Simple, creative, analytical. Thanks for the inspo @simongerman600 !
It is so easy to make text accessible to support English learners via @GoogleForEdu Docs. Just a few clicks with Doc’s AI Translate tool provides the whole document in the students’ home language to promote their understanding of the English version. @accessible_fcps@FCPS_ESOL
Big thanks to @OR_TESOL for publishing my teaching note in their 2023 ORTESOL Journal: Constructing Learners’ Self-Confidence Through Recorded Speech. Perfect for teachers working with @WIDA_UW & @SIOPModel

The school year is winding down, but rather than feeling tired, I’m filled with excitement because of this @CoSN CETL Foundations course. These topics are sparking ideas and conversations with colleagues that keep my enthusiasm about ed tech leadership riding high. 😀💯
Shoutout to Stepping Stones Book Classics from @randomhousekids Finishing up the year with Frankenstein-It's gruesome and plot twist-y and absolutely perfect for @WIDA_UW Level 2 learners. Just enough complex vocabulary to challenge them into productive struggle. 🏆 @FCPS_ESOL
