Matt, in the same video, she said she believes if Musk was intentionally "stonewalling" Robotaxi to suppress Tesla share price prior to the merger, it would not be considered securities fraud.
She gave an example of how companies sometimes delay product launches to match up with holiday timeframes.
That's nowhere near the same ballpark.
Her mindset here makes it super clear to me now that TBM wants this merger to go through as quickly as possible, with whatever terms Elon decides, while ignoring fidicuiary responsibility to Tesla shareholders. I don't think she can be trusted.
@OverlyTrev@FredLambert I muted this man for a reason, no need to post screenshots of him so he reappears on my timeline
just dont engage w the man, he's another brain that has fallen to partisan, tribal politics.
you're advocating for an intentional stalling in Robotaxi rollout for this merger to go through, which will benefit SpaceX shareholders.
do you really think the Tesla shareholder base trusts a "fair value determination by experts"?
imo, the more time that passes without meaningful Robotaxi progress, the more tesla shareholders vote NO. justifiably so!
@wholemars Timing and valuation with respect to the merger deal are very closely interrelated.
This is very similar to when Tesla was priced around $250-$300 (pre 15x-split) and Elon said he would take Tesla private at $420 per share.
I was a shareholder at that time, and I was not happy. Sure, you get some upside, but I believed that Tesla would one day be worth $4000 per share. Today, it's over $6000 per share, pre-split adjusted. Elon buying us out for $420 per share would've prevented us from realizing all that upside.
SpaceX buying us out for $550 or $600 per share is a very similar situation. Most Tesla investors did not invest for that small ~30% upside. We think Robotaxi and FSD is worth ~5x from where we are today.
@bradsferguson@nerdalert
With this change and Banish, I think FSD is basically solved. Future updates will be incremental improvements rather than step changes in functionality.
There's something very dark about our current political world where people rejoice in a problem that has nothing to do with politics just because they hate who's in charge at the moment.
Don't we all want the pool to look good? Why is this a "win" for democrats? Why is this a political thing?
