@SchoolChoiceNE Have you ever been poor? I have. When I was a public school teacher and sent my kids to private school. We were on that waiting list. And when we could pay we did and always paid our taxes to support other people’s kids at the same time. Spare me. Again, have you ever been poor?

I have taught at, and supported, public schools for over 25 years. And...my kids went to private schools for some of those years. But, I never expected to not pay my taxes and have other people's money subsidize my choice. Why? Because I care about everyone's kids. No on LB753!

Gov. @TeamPillen says he plans to shrink government in a 'respectful way' by not filling vacant posts and not filling jobs after people retire. That is except at @NEStatePatrol and @NECorrections where Pillen has upped salaries to fill vacancies.
